Use the "Hierarchy of Hazard Control" to reduce the risk of exposure to worksite hazards.

1. Elimination of the hazard completely
2. Substitution of the hazard for something less hazardous
3. Engineering Controls put a barrier between you and the hazard
4. Administrative Controls train you how to work around the hazard
5. Personal Protective Equipment is used to protect you from the hazard

EPP Safety Tool Box Talks (TBT) is one of many steps in achieving our long-term goal to increase safety awareness and compliance at Facilities & Services. EPP Safety Tool Box Talks are brief safety training sessions presenting OSHA safety instruction, jobsite hazard training and general safety awareness. The TBT page provides current and past topics.

The EPA has an app and websitewith information on the condition of thousands of lakes, rivers and streams across the United States. Use your smart phone, tablet or desktop computer. The How’s My Waterway app and website uses GPS technology, a user-entered zip code or city name to provide information about the quality of local water bodies.
